The Puget Sound Crab Association and Puget Sound Prawn Association proudly endorse Corey Joyce for Port Commissioner over his opposition Bonnie Bowers. Corey has been a fisherman and business owner in this community for over 30 years.
Corey has a vast knowledge of our commercial business and our operations/needs at the commercial area of Cap Sante Marina. Corey has been involved with the Marina Advisory Board for nearly 10 years and has always been an open ear to our fisheries and our needs. We need a business-minded person to represent our fisherman and operations, on the Port Commission. Corey truly cares about the Port and its tenants.

is endorsing Corey Joyce in his candidacy for Port of Anacortes Commissioner, District 4.
We believe he will do what is best for the Port District, businesses, and environment,
with bold independence. We have seen his dedication to the marine industry and his
understanding for job creation, retention, and economic development for the future of Port
District residents and youth. He understands business, but most importantly, understands
relationships and the honor that is entrusted with relationships as evidenced in his community
involvement, volunteerism, and generosity. He is a life-long resident of Anacortes and will
fight for integrity and transparency in government.

I am writing this letter in full support of Corey Joyce and his run at Port Commission District 4 starting January 2024.
I have lived in Anacortes for 45+ years. In my time living here I was fortunate enough to hold a successful position at the Port for 22yrs. In that time, I have seen Corey work on and around the Port’s waterfront and Port properties. Corey has vast knowledge of how the Port has operated. Corey has seen how we have worked with our tenants and community members. He has fresh ideas and a strong work ethic to help move the Port forward as times are becoming more challenging.
I believe Corey will be a very important piece of the five commission members to keep the Port moving forward. We need a long-standing member/successful entrepreneur of our community to be in a position like this.
